Tonight, I conquered an uphill battle together with you… that was by far the most difficult drive I’ve ever had using a 4X4. I had to keep it from you; that I’m having small panic attacks as the car traversed upwards with very little petrol left since I saw how you appreciated the sight, over-looking the city lights as you utter the words “ang ganda baby! i love it here!” & “wow! ang galing mo magdrive babe!”… I can never spoil that moment with my worries and still we made it to the top of mountain… 9 kilometers of uphill drive, 45 minutes of holding my breath in fear is worth it having to see that reaction on your face as your window opened, your hair being blown by the chilly mountain breeze, those lights from the city below… its just an ironic state of worry and bliss…
